First Horizontal Submersible Pumps in Thailand

Jebsen & Jessen Technology Thailand – Pumps delivered and installed 10 units of submersible pumps for Thailand’s largest lignite coal mine, Mae Moh Mining. Located at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) in Lampang province, the project was successfully commissioned within six months.
Smarnchai Promthewa, Division Manager of Jebsen & Jessen Technology – Pumps, explained: “Working together with our technology partner Zenit-Uniqa, we are proud to be the team to supply and install the first horizontal pumps in Thailand. This high performance pump has a capacity of 1,400m3/h at a total head of 48.5m with 250kW power. Equipped with motor control panels its innovative design saves cost and provides a mobile workstation.”
