Vito is Shell’s 11th deep-water host in the Gulf of Mexico.
Cables International has recently won two multi-million-dollar contracts from Singapore’s Sembcorp Marine Rigs & Floaters for Shell Offshore’s Vito Project! Vito is a deep-water development in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico located beneath more than 1,200 metres of water.
The team has previously worked with Sembcorp Marine Offshore Platforms, another subsidiary of Sembcorp Marine, to deliver over 1.2 million meters of cables for Maersk Oil’s prestigious Culzean field platform. Through our on-time and on-budget performance for that project, we have earned trust and demonstrated our spirit of partnership. This has contributed, in part, to this latest win.
The two new contracts for the Vito project comprise firstly, the management and supply of all power, control and instrumentation cables, and secondly, all cables support systems throughout the vessel, together with a wide range of electrical accessories.
