The Aerospace team takes flight with the latest robotic design technology in Japan.

The Aerospace team at Jebsen & Jessen Technology – Industrial Services Division set foot on Japanese soil in October 2016 to introduce its own robotic design to the world.

Visual Inspection is an automated inspection system that can perform visual checks on aerospace engines, modules and components for missing items as well as aerospace part abnormalities using vision inspection tools.

Led by Regional Director Jeremy Chee, the team proudly presented this to a worldwide audience at Japan Aerospace International Exhibition (Oct 12-15, Tokyo). Held once every four years, the trade show welcomed over 44,000 visitors. The team was delighted to receive positive feedback and keen interest from many big names in the Japanese aviation industry including IHI Corporation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Aero Engines and NIPPI Corporation.

With the success of the trade show behind them, the team now aims to convert some of these leads into business opportunities.
